One of the big attractions is the Stir Cove. The Grill is a classic diner look and feel with good food when you just want something a little lighter and cheaper.
They also have the 360 Steakhouse and the Stir Cove Backstage Grill. They offer a decent buffet there, nothing to get overly excited about but worth eating.
That view also gives you the Omaha skyline view just across the river. The Missouri River is not exactly a sight-seeing destination but it is a nice view. I have stayed there recently and recommend that you ask for a room with a river view. The hotel is very nice and located right with the casino. You can either use the valet at the main entrance, park in a covered multi-level parking garage or use the main parking lot in front of the hotel. Harrah’s is one of three casinos in Council Bluffs, with the Ameristar Casino and the Horseshoe Council Bluffs all within a few miles.Ĭoming up on the casino hotel complex, there are many options for parking including valet. I have been to Harrah’s riverboat casino and the new land-based casino in Council Bluffs many times.
